Cthulhu

This post in reference to http://ninesisters.wordpress.com/2007/11/20/the-call-of-cthulhu/#more-18

And you romanticize the very topic you claim enlightenment on. Your purpose is not to seek reform, you glorify the unrealistic fears of our hollywoodized society. Claim to show the way in darkness for our troubled uncaring society. Pointing out the great flaw of society "ignoring fear." The world today does not know fear, we have never experienced what it is to live in fear. Today we only know what Hollywood has given in us.
We dont have the threat of a dictator hanging over us, we do not go to sleep at night question every move we made hoping our "treasons" go unnoticed. The world we live in has no fear. These fictional character you have brought up as the embodiment of fear in our society are laughable. Creating images and emotions that are so far beyond the realm of normal possibility that the have to be made humorous. There is no seriousness in them they have no sincerity. All they are, are glorified imaginations, they do not have a bearing on the real world. Yet you want us to take their fear seriously, suggesting that we have something to fear from these comic book villains.
Our society for once has it right we should not live in unnecessary fear, part of our vast human intelligence is know what is real. The line can be blurred and that is true fear but that is not what you want, you want the world to run in fear of unseen evil. Go back to the dark ages and trust your God, who is vengeful and mighty, more than you trust your neighbor. Reality today does not harbor these ideas of secrecy and deception, we want everything to be clad in the light and woven is shadow.
You would have us be ruled by our fears, consumed by ideas that are fabrication or some dead man's imagination. These so called monsters are not something to be looked upon with reverence, those times left with our ignorance. It is time now for the monsters of our past to evolve and hold a place of entertainment and frivolity not worship and fear.
You suggest that the world live in fear of its fiction. I suggest we regard fiction through the educated eyes of reality. Let our "fears" remain cute and cuddly for they are nothing to dwell upon. And instead of focusing on what can make our world have greater fear (something which you think is respect to parties unknown to all, fabricated by the mind) let us focus on ways to rid our world of those who seek to cause it.

Geekitude

In regards to your list of Geekitude.

Rainmaker>Kitty Pryde

For many reasons, not the least of which is that she would NEVER SLANDER PROFESSOR X.

That is all.
As a christening of this blog I'd like to begin with a quote from my good friend Palthov, from whom the inspiration for this blog sprung:

I fucking hate you soo fucking much, go be artistic or literally creative what ever the fuck you call it on you own and dont share it with me. Just tell me about the comic you read and dont go parading around on the internet like a pompous ass acting like you are better than everyone. Your are not creative you are just another asshole with a computer who think he knows thing others dont and has insight into things others can only dream about, guess what you dont.

I am gonna start my own blog and its entire purpose is going to be to discredit, humiliate and generally fuck you blog over. Its gonna be called nine brothers and if you dont know what it means go take anatomy or some other bullshit class like that.

In conclusion: Fuck MAN-BAT

Remember to check back here for rebuttals to the "Nine Sisters'" worthless posts.
